While we don't celebrate it here in the U.S., that hasn't stopped the PlayStation Store from running a Golden Week sale on some very Japanese games in celebration.

In Japan, it's Golden Week, that period of time when the bunching up of a bunch of holidays causes virtually the entire country to shut down for fun.(Last year's "South Park: The Stick of Truth" owes more than a tip of the hat to "Paper Mario.") Though it started out as a sequel to the Square-developed "Super Mario RPG" on the SNES, "Paper Mario" ended up creating a series of its own with faster action-based role-playing. It's not related to "Star Wars," but Nintendo has put its Nintendo 64 RPG classic "Paper Mario" on the eShop for Wii U.

There's also a Throwback Pack of the four, plus "Dark Forces," for $30. Included are "Starfighter," "Bounty Hunter," "Episode III" and "Racer Revenge." Each game will normally set you back $10, but for this first week (until May 5), they run only $7.50 each.
